Letter from the Director

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the Media Children's House website. Please take a few moments to peruse the information on our site. Media Children's House was established in Media, Pennsylvania in 1976. I have had the opportunity to watch the school and many children grow academically and socially since 1990. In 2001 we moved to our current location in Aston, Pennsylvania. It is within these walls that our program expanded from a ‘children’s house’ educating children 3 to 6, to include a Toddler Program and an Elementary Program.

I am honored to be an integral part of this school community and am passionate about providing an environment that follows a traditional model of Montessori education. With over 2 decades in the Montessori classroom, I still find myself amazed on a daily basis with the confidence and love of learning that our students demonstrate.
